Ricardo Arispe

Visual Artist & New Media Innovator

Ricardo Arispe is a multidisciplinary visual artist whose career bridges photography, installation, virtual reality, and AI-driven artistic ecosystems. A systems analyst by training, he began exhibiting professionally in 2011 and has since participated in over 100 group shows and solo exhibitions across Latin America, Europe, and the United States  .

As the creator of ColectiBot, Arispe pioneers a collective AI art ecosystem—a network of intelligent “bot” artists (e.g. AVA, ARES, FEBO, MARK) that autonomously generate both visual artworks and their own critical texts  . His 2025 exhibition What is Reality? at Arts Connection Foundation in Miami presented this work as an immersive, multisensory experience combining physical prints, soundscapes, and real-time AI interactions  .

Driven by concerns about societal challenges—such as corruption, scarcity, and misinformation—Ricardo uses emerging technologies to question authorship, identity, and the nature of reality itself  . He also directs IncubadoraVisual and #ElDespachoArtLab, and contributes to AWA Cultura. His work has earned him international accolades including the 2021 Cali Photo Fest Prize and Venezuela’s 2021 AICA Young Artist Award
